Meal in A Pot

You don’t have to have a big back yard to start your vegetable garden or even have spare ground. Why not start with a small collection of pots like these above, they are actually in a front yard which enjoys morning sunlight and afternoon shade. A lovely collection of sliverbeet, spinach, chillies and herbs. You can pot up lots of combinations that can help with the meal time rush.

You could try many these combinations -

The pasta pot - add a tomato plant, some basil, thyme and oregano. Everything you need for pasta or pizza!

Stir fry pot - try growing some Asian greens like Bok Choi, Pak Choi, and add a capsicum or chili plant.

Salad pot - put in some rocket, silverbeet and lettuce varieties to form the base of a salad, add in some chives and you are ready to go.

Herb pot - plant up some rosemary, thyme, tarragon, parsley, basil, chives and mint and you can add some wonderful flavours to your cooking
