January Fresh Food Swap
The Fresh Food Swap is back on Saturday January 17th for the Swan Hill and surrounds community. The Fresh Food Swap is designed to reduce food waste by providing growers a chance to bring in their surplus vegetables, fruit, herbs, eggs, preserves and flowers for our community to benefit. Are you interested in growing your own produce but don’t know where to start come along grab some produce and talk to some of our local growers to get some tips and tricks. No swaps are required with local growers being generous in produce being brought in.
The Swan Hill Regional Library is looking for more volunteers to help run the Fresh Food Swaps for 2026. 11 Fresh Food Swaps will be held in 2026 from January through to November, even if your only available for a few sessions next year that works with a group of volunteers. Contact the Swan Hill Regional Library if you are interested in volunteering and growing the initiative!
