Edible Garden Expo 2019

In October Food for All hosted the first Edible Garden Expo, held at the Town Hall.  This event was well attended with over 150 people coming through the doors to learn more about home, school and community gardens in Swan Hill.

The aim of the expo was to provide practical tips and tricks on growing your own food and to help this three talks were run throughout the morning on fruit fly (Sunraysia Pest Free Area), composting (Loddon Mallee Waste) and wicking beds (Darryl Pearl).  As well as promoting our wonderful school and community gardens to the wider community.

There were showbags and door prizes won on the day, kindly donated by Anglicare, Bunnings, Loddon Mallee Waste and Food for All.
